Ingredients (makes 12β16 bars)
Biscuit Base
- 1 cup almond meal (100g)
- 2 tbsp coconut flour (15g)
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp Bhone Beauty Chocolate Haven β¨
- Pinch of salt
Caramel Layer
- 1 cup Medjool dates (pitted; ~12 dates)
- 3 tbsp nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew)
- 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Chocolate Topping
- Β½ cup coconut oil, melted
- Β½ cup cacao powder (or cocoa)
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp Bhone Beauty Chocolate Haven β¨
- Optional: sprinkle roasted peanuts on top for extra crunch.
Method π₯
1. Make the base
Mix almond meal, coconut flour, coconut oil, maple syrup, Bhone powder + salt until a dough forms. Press firmly into a lined square tin. Freeze for 15 minutes.
2. Make the caramel
Blend dates, nut butter, coconut oil, vanilla + salt until smooth. Spread over the base and return to the freezer for another 15 minutes.
3. Make the chocolate topping
Whisk coconut oil, cacao powder, maple syrup + Bhone powder until glossy. Pour over the caramel layer and smooth out with a spatula.
4. Set + slice
Freeze for at least 1 hour. Slice into 12β16 bars with a sharp knife. Store in the freezer and let sit 5 minutes before eating.
